Standards
Editorial Policy
How The Public Voice sources, verifies, corrects and labels its journalism, including sponsored and political content.
Sourcing and verification
Factual claims are verified with at least two independent sources or primary documents before publication. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is of clear public interest and cannot be obtained on the record.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly and openly. Corrected reports carry a note explaining what changed and when.
Sponsored content
Paid promotions and political advertorials are labelled as sponsored and separated from newsroom reporting. Advertisers have no say in editorial decisions.
Right of reply
Anyone criticised in our reporting is offered a fair opportunity to respond before publication.
